Africa-Press – Kenya. The Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF) has officially opened the media accreditation process for the highly anticipated TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2025. Applications opened on Monday, 1 September 2025, and will close on Friday, 10 October 2025.

The tournament, scheduled to run from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, promises to be one of the most exciting editions of Africa’s premier football competition. Journalists, photographers, and media professionals from across the continent and beyond will converge in Morocco to cover the spectacle.

To be considered, applicants must adhere to CAF’s accreditation requirements. These include holding an active CAF Media Channel account, proof of professional media affiliation, and submission of valid identification documents. International applicants must present a passport with at least six months’ validity, while Morocco-based media can provide either a passport or national ID. A recent passport-style photograph is also mandatory.

CAF emphasized that only complete and accurate applications will be reviewed, ensuring that accredited media representatives enjoy smooth access to cover the month-long continental showpiece.
