AfricaPress-Kenya: Harambee Stars goalkeeper Patrick Matasi was on Tuesday evening hospitalized after being involved in a road accident at Kapsabet.
Matasi was travelling with his family from Kakamega to Nairobi when the accident occurred .
Matasi and his family were alert and conscious when the residence of the area arrived at the scene to free them from the badly damaged car.
The victims were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to reports, the driver lost control of the car before veering off the road.
A tire burst is believed to be a factor in the crash.
The front and the back of the car was damaged but fortunately, no-one was badly injured
