Africa-Press – Kenya. League champions National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) will battle Black Mamba in Kenya Handball Federation (KHF) Super Cup.
According to the pooling released by Kenya Handball Federation (KHF), the two powerhouses are in Pool ‘A’. The other team is KDF.
NCPB and Black Mamba represented Kenya in the regional club championship in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania last December bagging silver and bronze medals respectively.
League runners up Strathmore University, GSU, and Kenyatta University form Pool B. The two-week event throws off March 5.
KHF fixtures secretary, Charles Omondi, said the fixtures for the two-week tournament will be released in due course.
Battling it out in the women’s category are national champions Nairobi Water Queens, (NCPB), KDF, and Nanyuki.
The Super Cup winners will book tickets for the East and Central Africa Club show and Africa championships.
The league winners qualify for the Cup Winners Cup which is slated for Niamey, Niger in April.
