Africa-Press – Kenya. Rigathi Gachagua, the newly elected deputy president of Kenya, has embraced a nickname given to him by young Kenyans. “Riggy G is melodious,” he said at a primary schools music festival being held in the western county of Kisumu.

His combative campaigning style, which critics had said was a liability, proved to be an asset. His fashion sense has also been the butt of jokes, but he promised Kenyans that they’ll notice changes to his sartorial choices in three months’ time.
