Africa-Press – Kenya. The Amani National Congress (ANC) has announced that it has relocated its party headquarters from James Gichuru road. In a statement, Secretary general Simon Kamau said the new offices will be located at House no. 16, 961 Riverside Drive, Off Riverside Mews, Nairobi.
“This is to notify all ANC members, supporters, partners and members of the public that the address for the party headquarters has changed,” the statement reads.
The office was formerly located at Loyangalani lane, in Lavington. Kamau, however, noted that the party’s postal and email addresses and contact numbers remain the same.
“Our phone number and email address will remain unchanged.” The party did not explain the reason for moving offices. The party was formerly led by Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi who stepped down last year.
The move comes about three weeks after the Jubilee party moved offices from the famous Pangani headquarters to Kileleshwa. “The Jubilee party headquarters has been relocated to a new address within the Kileleshwa area, off Mandera Road,” Secretary-General Jeremiah Kioni said.
