Ruto: There's no room for corruption in my government

Africa-Press – Kenya. President William Ruto has insisted that corrupt individuals in his administration will not be condoned. Speaking during the funeral service of the late David Waweru Ng’ethe, Kandara, Murang’a County, the head of state said that if anyone is found guilty of corruption they will face the law.

“Yeyote atapatikana na kua ametumia mali ya uma vibaya, nimeambia marafiki zangu na wale ambao sio marafiki wangu kua wafanye kazi kwautaratibu,” he said.

(Anyone who will be found guilty of corruption will face the wrath, I have told all my friends and those who are not my friends to work diligently)

The President said his team is in the works to ensure the Kenya Kwanza’s manifesto is met. “Mahali tulipo, tusipopanga na lugha zote, tunaweza teleza, nawashukuru kwa kunipa viongozi bora,” he said.

(Where we are at as a country if we don’t use all the languages to make things work, we shall fall, thank you for giving me the best leaders)

The president recently sacked Health PS Josephine Mburu and the whole of the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority board including its chair Daniel Rono following allegations of an alleged scandal regarding the supply of mosquito nets.
