\nAfricaPress-Kenya:<\/strong> Jubilee Party leaders from Nakuru County have continued to hit out at Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri (above)<\/strong>\u00a0for criticising President Uhuru Kenyatta.<\/p>\n

The party\u2019s county chairman David Manyara, and some branch officials called on Jubilee Party to discipline the MP over his criticism of party leaders and the ongoing re-organisation of the leadership of the National Assembly and Senate.<\/p>\n

Mr Manyara said the\u00a0MP\u2019s position was not shared by Nakuru Jubilee Party supporters who, instead, support President Kenyatta’s agenda of uniting the country, the handshake and the review of the constitution to ensure inclusiveness in government.<\/p>\n

\u201cMr Ngunjiri has in the past two years been criticising the president over the development and management of the party. We have been watching him abuse the president. But now enough is enough. He must leave Jubilee or be forced out to seek a fresh mandate from the people,\u201d Manyara said.<\/p>\n

The former Nakuru Town MP said the party branch had written to the Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju to start a disciplinary process against the MP.\u201cThe MP must apologise to the President while the Jubilee party organs must crack the whip,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Ngunjiri, an ally of Deputy President William Ruto has given President Kenyatta a headache in the past two years.The firebrand politician has been exchanging political blows in the public with the president.<\/p>\n

His increasing bare-knuckle attacks on the President and his appetite for stinging criticism of the Jubilee administration once for prompted Kenyatta to rebuke him in public.Ngunjiri is now an ally of Deputy President William Ruto and a member of the Tangatanga group.On Monday, Manyara welcomed the changes in the leadership of the National Assembly that saw Aden Duale being kicked out as Majority Leader.<\/p>\n

The changes were made during a Jubilee Coalition Parliamentary Group meeting chaired by President Kenyatta.\u00a0 The new Majority Leader is Kipipiri Member of Parliament Amos Kimunya.Aden Keynan is the new Coalition Secretary.\u00a0 The changes were read out by Jubilee Majority Whip Emmanuel Wangwe, as soon as President Kenyatta walked in. His Deputy William Ruto was also present, but MPs loyal to him were missing.<\/p>\n

The party\u2019s county Secretary-General Peter Cheruiyot said the changes at the national assembly would help the president achieve his legacy agenda.\u201cAs the party branch leadership, we welcome the changes at the national assembly.<\/p>\n

Duale served us better for seven years and now Kimunya will do much better.
