Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>East Africa\u2019s largest healthcare exhibition and congress which kicked off on Wednesday closed its doors Friday at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.<\/p>\n

The Medic East Africa and Medlab East Africa exhibition 3-day event brought together 5,000+ government officials, healthcare professionals and investors from across the globe. It aimed to discover the latest healthcare and lab innovations that promise to redefine healthcare delivery in East Africa.<\/p>\n

In parallel, the event hosted a series of CPD-accredited conferences and was free to attend for healthcare and lab professionals from East Africa.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the increase in international pavilions, the conference has provided an ideal platform for the East Africa healthcare industry to build relationships with stakeholders from around the world,\u201d Informa Markets Exhibition Director Tom Coleman said during the event’s closure.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe exhibition has enabled health stakeholders to determine the best course of action to deliver good and quality healthcare across the East African region,\u201d Coleman added.<\/p>\n

Among the countries present for the conference are the United Arab Emirates (UAE), China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Pakistan, and India among others<\/p>\n

Some of the companies involved in the exhibition include Al Fahim Healthcare Solutions LLC, Siemens Healthineers and Leader Healthcare from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Crown Healthcare from Kenya, Shenzhen New Industries Biomedical Engineering Company Ltd (Snibe) \u2013 China, Mindray and United Imaging among others.<\/p>\n

The conference has also included a Leaders Summit where discussions on Kenya’s dynamic potential and global healthcare innovation were discussed.<\/p>\n
