Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi on Monday delivered President William Ruto’s message to his Burundi counterpart, President Evariste Ndayishimiye.<\/p>\n

Mudavadi delivered the message during his one-day official visit to Bujumbura, Burundi.<\/p>\n

In the meeting with President Ndayishimiye, the two leaders held talks to strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries.<\/p>\n

Kenya and Burundi are working towards a partnership that will see their citizens tap into available opportunities for economic growth and business empowerment between the two East African Countries<\/p>\n

“With the current global awakening where businesses are leveraging on technology and innovation, Kenya and Burundi will also be working towards empowering the youthful entrepreneurs to embrace opportunities presented in the business market owing to technological and innovative advancements,” Mudavadi said.<\/p>\n

The Prime Cabinet Secretary also held discussions on strengthening the East African Community (EAC) cooperation.<\/p>\n

This will also spur Kenya’s efforts to position itself as the business and economic hub of the region.<\/p>\n

“Similar visits have been planned in the coming days,” Mudavadi said.<\/p>\n

Kenya is seeking to ensure it lobbies for a stronger regional bloc, which will give a united and competitive front not only in the continent but also globally.<\/p>\n

Mudavadi was accompanied by the Principal Secretary, State Department for East African Community Abdi Dubat Fidhow among other key government officials.<\/p>\n

The Prime CS left the country on Monday morning for a meeting with the Burundian President.<\/p>\n
