Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>President William Ruto on Saturday opened the Lamu East Technical and Vocational College.<\/p>\n

The President said the college will equip the youth with technical competence to drive the country\u2019s transformation agenda.<\/p>\n

Leaders present included Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Cabinet Secretaries Kipchumba Murkomen (Transport) Aden Duale (Defence) , Ezekiel Machogu(Education) Speaker of the Senate Amason Kingi, Lamu Governor Issa Timamy, MPs and MCAs among other leaders.<\/p>\n

Ruto is currently in the Coast region on a five-day development tour.<\/p>\n

The tour by the head of state which started on Wednesday will see him traverse the five counties of the region to launch and inspect completed projects.<\/p>\n
