Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Narc Kenya partyleader Martha Karua has told off the Kenya Kwanza administration against bringing up former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s name in every situation.<\/p>\n

Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV, she said they should let Uhuru Kenyatta enjoy his retirement.<\/p>\n

“If people are unable to think beyond Uhuru why don’t they go consult him. This Kenya Kwanza regime should go to him politely and ask him how to govern so that they can get over this thing about him,” she said.<\/p>\n

The Narc Kenya party leader also refuted claims that the former president attended a meeting with the National Dialogue Committee.<\/p>\n

“Its not every sneeze where we have to bring in Uhuru Kenyatta. If he has talked to anyone, he is Kenyan. Is there any law that stops him from talking? I have not seen him in any of the meetings we have held to do with National Dialogue Committee,” Karua said.<\/p>\n

She further said she doesn’t recall meeting Uhuru Kenyatta recently.<\/p>\n

Karua said they have been meeting as Azimio la Umoja principals and very busy during those times.<\/p>\n

“There was one meeting which I didn’t attend and I don’t know whether he was there,” the Narc party leader said.<\/p>\n

She went on to say that recently they have been having a lot of work to attend to compared to before.<\/p>\n

This she said forced them to bring in their council.<\/p>\n

“The work before then did not need a council. It needed the commitment of principals. We have those known as principles who don’t belong to the council,” she said.<\/p>\n

On December 17, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi urged Former President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Jubilee party members to accept Resolutions from the National Dialogue Committee to maintain peace in the Country.<\/p>\n

This was after National Dialogue Committee led by the National Assembly Majority leader Kimani Ichung’wah and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka had already given their final submissions.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Kalonzo and Ichung\u2019wah, the chairs of NADCO have approved the report, then it is Jubilee that is bringing complications among the Azimio coalition. Why is it that Uhuru Kenyatta and his team do not want to respect the results?\u201d Mudavadi posed.<\/p>\n
