Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Narok Senator Ledama Olekina has said that the ODM party will be holding their grassroots elections early this year.<\/p>\n

Speaking on a Day Break discussion on Citizen TV on Monday, Olekina said that the ODM grassroots election will take place this year.<\/p>\n

“We need to get more people to be registered as members of the ODM Party which has been taking place nationally,” Olekina said.<\/p>\n

“We are going to be looking at the grassroots election and also member recruitment in Narok County around March,” he noted.<\/p>\n

Ledama has urged Kenyans to continue joining the party since they are growing and becoming stronger.<\/p>\n

Olekina said ODM is a strong member of the Azimio coalition and urged their colleagues in their other affiliate parties of the coalition to stand strong.<\/p>\n

“ODM is a member of Azimio and we are stronger together. We are calling all our colleagues in the affiliate parties of Azimio to be able to stand strong,” he said.<\/p>\n

“There is nothing wrong in having ambitions on who should become a candidate in 2027 but I think that we must strengthen our parties and bring everything on the table.”<\/p>\n
