Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Kiharu Member of Parliament, Ndindi Nyoro, flew to Bondo Constituency on Sunday morning for a church service, days after President William Ruto toured the same area.<\/p>\n

Within the same week the Head of State met opposition leader Raila Odinga at Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni’s Kisozi Farm.<\/p>\n

While attending a church service at St Andrew’s Bondo Catholic Church in Bondo Constituency in Siaya, the MP applauded the area leaders for their efforts in bringing development to the constituency.<\/p>\n

The legislator\u2019s visit comes at a time when speculation is rife that President Ruto and Raila could strike a political truce birthed by the latter’s bid for the African Union (AU) Commission chairperson position.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Ndindi Nyoro noted that the leadership in the area was keen on providing education to its residents, a sector in which the current regime was also keen on investing.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the legislator noted that during the ongoing budget formulation process within the Parliament, the government was keen on ensuring growth in agriculture, education and youth employment.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have increased allocations to the Teacher\u2019s Service Commission (TSC), we have allocated Ksh26 million to hire the teachers who were on internship on a permanent and pensionable basis,\u201d explained Ndindi Nyoro.<\/p>\n

Ndindi further called on Kenyans to stamp out ethnic politics, in a bid to improve all areas within the country.<\/p>\n

Moreover, Ndindi continued to urge the youth to apply for the job positions announced by the government in foreign nations, as a means of eradicating unemployment.<\/p>\n

He further elaborated on the matter explaining that there were only 500 positions applied for despite 2,000 nursing positions gazetted by the government.<\/p>\n

Further Ndindi commended Homa Bay County for its conference held in the previous week citing that all leaders should emulate the Nyanza leaders in development.<\/p>\n

He further reiterated the national government\u2019s commitment to development of all regions within the country regardless of the political leanings.<\/p>\n

Ndindi\u2019s visit to Nyanza, comes at a time when there have been speculation in the Kenya Kwanza camp of him being lined up to be President Ruto’s running mate in the 2027 election.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the week when President William Ruto visited Homa Bay, he hinted at the State bankrolling Raila’s bid for the AUC chair position, which he used as evidence to justify his commitment to national unity.<\/p>\n

“I was here in Homa Bay during the campaigns and I promised you that there will be no loser here in Kenya. I promised that I would work so hard to ensure that everyone is accommodated. You did not believe me. Now you can see how things are going. Didn’t I promise that in the market?<\/p>\n
