Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Isuzu East Africa has obtained distributorship rights to assemble and sell UD Trucks in Kenya.<\/p>\n

Speaking at a media event held at its Nairobi premises, Isuzu East Africa\u2019s Managing Director, Rita Kavashe, said that the company was delighted to add the UD Trucks brand to its portfolio.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe understand commercial vehicles and their applications being a key player in the industry. Isuzu East Africa is also a automotive distributor in the region and has been the overall market leader for 12 consecutive years,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n

Rita further observed that the UD Trucks brand is well respected in Kenya, with its various model lines affectionately referred to as \u2018Ndovu\u2019 for CW 450 and \u2018Nyati\u2019 for PKB, symbolizing their robustness and durability.<\/p>\n

UD Trucks MEENA (Middle East, East and North Africa Region) president, Mourad Hedna, expressed confidence in Isuzu East Africa\u2019s ability to provide support to UD Trucks customers.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am confident that with our Japanese Brand heritage, our latest Euro 5 Range covering from 10 to 80 Tonnes, and the dedication and expertise of Isuzu East Africa, we will have one of the most competitive offers for our customers in Kenya bringing back our strong and long legacy,\u201d Mourad added.<\/p>\n

On his part, Isuzu East Africa\u2019s Chairman Hiroshi Hisatomi, said that Isuzu EA\u2019s partnership with UD Trucks was yet another demonstration of the strong relationships built with customers over the years.<\/p>\n

Isuzu East Africa is gearing up to assemble the heavy-duty Quester and the medium duty Croner for sale in Kenya, with the official sales launch scheduled in the second half of 2024.<\/p>\n

Immediate after sales support will be extended to existing UD Trucks customers to ensure a seamless ownership experience for UD Trucks customers.<\/p>\n

This partnership brings together the complete and modern UD Trucks range and the very strong local expertise in Truck business.<\/p>\n
