Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Kenya Power has released a list of areas set to experience power interruption today.<\/p>\n

In a notice, the company listed up to 39 areas in the two counties of Kiambu and Bungoma.<\/p>\n

The planned interruption in Kiambu will start from 8 am to 5 pm.<\/p>\n

The areas are BTL Police. Kenya Tents, Ruai Prison, Redland Roses, Part of OJ, Shell OJ Petrol Stun, Membley Riverside, Part of Sweet Water, Little More, Part of Tatu City, Crawford International School, Hardy Kenya and adjacent customers.<\/p>\n

In Bungoma, the utility firm said Webuye Town, Webuye Sub-County Hops, Nabuyole Water Treatment Plant, Site and Service, Milo, and Kakimayi will be affected.<\/p>\n

Others are Khalumuli, Matulo, Sango, Pan African Chemical, Matete, Chebwayi, Mbande, Kuuywa, Nabwala, Mang’ana, Johari Maize Mill, Hongera Maize Mill, Lufwindiri, Nzoia Lurare, St. Paul’s Nzoia, Munyikana, Malaha, Wenyila, Bunjosi, Sirisia, Jaggery and adjacent customers.<\/p>\n

The power outage in Bungoma will take place from 9 am to 2 pm.<\/p>\n

“The interruptions are part of routine maintenance and upgrade works aimed at enhancing the reliability of the power supply infrastructure,” Kenya Power said.<\/p>\n
