Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Equity Bank emerged the top bank in trade financing at the 20th Edition of the Think Business Banking Awards.<\/p>\n

It also secured the first position in eight other categories.<\/p>\n

The accolade, according to the lender, underscores its commitment to delivering top-tier trade finance solutions and supporting Kenyan businesses to trade internationally, through the accessibility of financial services to catalyse sustainable economic growth across the continent.<\/p>\n

Alongside the award, Equity was recognised in agency banking, product marketing for their “Kusave Ni Rahisi Na Equity” campaign, asset finance, agriculture and livestock financing, retail banking and corporate banking.<\/p>\n

It was also named the top commercial bank in microfinance.<\/p>\n

Additionally, it received the special judge’s award for product innovation with its Equity Group Foundation (EGF) – Water Financing initiative, underlining its commitment to sustainable financial solutions.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, the lender earned two special recognitions, affirming its standing as the top player in the banking sector.<\/p>\n

The Bank was honored as a green Bank in Kenya, highlighting its dedication to environmentally sustainable practices and was included in the Roll of Class Acts of 20 Years, which celebrates banks that have consistently delivered value and maintained high performance over the past two decades.<\/p>\n

“These recognitions underscore Equity Bank’s longstanding impact and innovative approach in the banking industry,” noted Gerald Warui, the managing director at Equity Bank Kenya.<\/p>\n
