Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) on Friday announced the shortlist of nominees for The Best FIFA Football Awards 2024.<\/p>\n

Inter Miami’s Argentine superstar Lionel Messi along with Real Madrid’s retired German midfielder Toni Kroos are among the Best Men’s Player nominees.<\/p>\n

The reigning UEFA Champions League champions Real Madrid also have the most nominees for the Best Men’s Player award, with six, including Dani Carvajal, Federico Valverde, Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe, and Vinicius Jr.<\/p>\n

Barcelona’s Spanish midfielder Aitana Bonmati, who won the Women’s Ballon d’Or and the FIFA Best Women’s Footballer award in the 2022\u201323 season, is among the nominees this year.<\/p>\n

Fans will be able to vote for “The Best FIFA Men\u2019s 11” and “The Best FIFA Women\u2019s 11” awards this year as a change in the format.<\/p>\n

The voting for the awards will be open on FIFA.com until December 10.<\/p>\n
