Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Action between Kisumu All Stars (blue) and Darajani Gogo at Moi Stadium in KisumuKisumu All Stars chairman Nicholas Ochieng’ says they are not worried by their poor start to the National Super League 2025\/26 season.<\/p>\n

He asked the club’s fans not to panic despite the club being winless in five opening games. “There is no need to panic. We have a young team that is still coming together.<\/p>\n

Once they get used to the league, I’m confident they will do well. We just need to win two games,” said Ochieng’. He said the club lost 20 players after the withdrawal of Kisumu County’s sponsorship.<\/p>\n

“We remained with seven players only. The rest were signed from Division One and Division Two teams.<\/p>\n

This is their first time to feature in the NSL,” added Ochieng’. He backed the technical bench, led by Billy Agai, to stem the tide soon. “The technical bench is doing a good job despite the team remaining winless.<\/p>\n

The boys are playing good football, but luck has not been on their side,” he remarked. Ochieng’ added that they are building a team for the future and thanked gaming firm Mozzartbet for sponsoring the team to the tune of Sh5 million per season.<\/p>\n

He, however, noted that the money is not enough to run a team for a season and appealed to more sponsors to support the former Premier League side. On Monday, the Blue Eagles suffered their third loss of the season, going down 1-0 against Darajani Gogo at Moi Stadium in Kisumu.<\/p>\n

Edwin Ouko scored the lone goal for the visitors. Their other losses include 2-1 to Migori Youth and 1-0 to Kibera Black Stars. They drew with Vihiga United and Soy United.<\/p>\n

In other matches played on Monday, newbies Soy United battled from a goal down to hold hosts Mofa to a 1-1 draw at Raila Odinga Stadium. Laban Otieno scored for Mofa on the stroke of halftime, while Clinton Ofirah equalised for Soy United in the dying minutes of the game.<\/p>\n

Soy United coach Jeffers Odongo said he was happy with the draw. “We are unbeaten after three games. We dominated the game against Mofa, but we did not convert our chances, especially in the second half,” he noted.<\/p>\n

Newly promoted Kabati Youth picked up a crucial point after holding Naivas FC to a 1-1 draw. Vincent Oduor scored for Naivas, with Robert Obaga scoring the equaliser for Kabati Youth.<\/p>\n
