Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong> <\/span>Bandari FC striker Darius Msagha has turned his attention to a decisive end-of-season push, targeting both Sportpesa Premier League progress and Mozzart Bet Cup success as the campaign enters its final stretch.<\/p>\n

Msagha, known for his explosive pace and direct attacking style, says the campaign has reached a stage where personal performance must now translate into collective success.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been a solid season for me so far, but I am not satisfied with just playing well,\u201d Msagha said. \u201cAt this point, it is about helping the team win something meaningful.\u201d<\/p>\n

His focus has sharpened with each passing match, reflecting a player who believes he is entering the most important stretch of his career.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like everything I have gone through is preparing me for this moment,\u201d he added. \u201cNow I want to step up and deliver when it matters most.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite Bandari\u2019s inconsistent league form, Msagha has remained one of the most influential figures in attack, regularly driving transitions and creating chances from wide areas.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe league is still open for us if we stay consistent,\u201d he said. \u201cWe have dropped points, yes, but nothing is decided yet. We need to keep pushing.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the winger, the Mozzart Bet Cup represents an even sharper focus\u2014a chance to turn promise into silverware in knockout football where margins are thin and moments define seasons.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe cup is very important to me,\u201d Msagha said. \u201cIn knockout games, you don\u2019t get many chances. You have to be clinical, brave, and fully committed from the first minute.\u201d<\/p>\n

He believes Bandari\u2019s squad has the right blend of belief and resilience to compete deep into the tournament. \u201cI can feel the hunger in the team,\u201d he said. \u201cWe know what is at stake, and we are not approaching it casually. Everyone understands the responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n

Msagha has also highlighted his desire to leave a lasting mark at the Coast-based club, where expectations have grown with each season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to be remembered as a player who gave everything for this badge,\u201d he said. \u201cNot just someone who played well, but someone who helped bring success.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI have learnt that talent alone is not enough,\u201d Msagha said. \u201cYou have to be consistent, disciplined, and mentally strong every single game.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the season tightens, he insists his focus remains on execution rather than pressure.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to overthink it,\u201d he said. \u201cI just want to keep playing my football, stay sharp, and help the team in every way I can.\u201d<\/p>\n

With Bandari pushing for both league stability and cup success, Msagha believes the final stretch will be decided by mentality as much as quality.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese are the moments where character matters most,\u201d he said. \u201cAnyone can play when things are easy, but real players step up when everything is on the line.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cI want to be one of those players who is trusted in big moments, someone who can change games.\u201d<\/p>\n

While his ambition is personal, Msagha insists it is fully tied to team success, with trophies remaining the ultimate target.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the end of the day, football is about winning,\u201d he said. \u201cIf we win as a team, then everything else takes care of itself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Head coach Bernard Mwalala has praised Msagha\u2019s growing influence, noting his improved decision-making and maturity in key moments.<\/p>\n

\u201cMsagha has become more disciplined in his approach,\u201d Mwalala said. \u201cHe is learning when to take risks and when to control the tempo of the game.\u201d<\/p>\n

The coach believes the winger\u2019s evolution has made him a crucial part of Bandari\u2019s attacking structure.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is giving us balance in attack,\u201d Mwalala said. \u201cHis speed is still a major weapon, but now he is also thinking more like a team player.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mwalala added that the squad\u2019s ambitions remain intact as they continue to compete on multiple fronts.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are still in the race in the cup, and we are pushing in the league,\u201d he said. \u201cThe players understand what is required, and the focus is on consistency.\u201d<\/p>\n
