The Ministry of Interior and National Administration has opened 80 vacancies in key departments under Internal Security and Correctional Services.<\/p>\n
In a statement released on May 21, the ministry said the positions are targeting capacity in peacebuilding, government reception services and probation management.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Public Service Commission (PSC) has advertised 80 vacancies in key directorates under Internal Security and Correctional Services, in a move aimed at improving capacity in peace building, government reception services, and probation services,\u201d the ministry wrote.<\/p>\n
The advertised vacancies are intended to fill leadership and professional positions across both departments, with the PSC conducting recruitment for jobs under Civil Service Grades 4, 5, 6, and 7.<\/p>\n
The State Department for Internal Security and National Administration has advertised vacancies for Secretary (1), Director (2), Deputy Director (6), Assistant Director (7), and Senior Principal Lecturer (7) positions in the Peacebuilding and Conflict Management Directorate.<\/p>\n
The department has also advertised six Deputy Director vacancies and seven Assistant Director vacancies for Government Reception Services.<\/p>\n
In the State Department for Correctional Services, the recruitment is focused on the Probation Department, with vacancies including Secretary (15), Deputy Director (21), and Assistant Director (8).<\/p>\n
Interested individuals can access information about all the available jobs and requirements on the careers page of the ministry\u2019s website.<\/p>\n
Qualified candidates are required to apply through the PSC\u2019s official recruitment platform by May 26, and the job listings specify that all positions are open to serving officers only.<\/p>\n
The ministry underscored that the recruitment is an effort to address long-standing staffing gaps in the security and public administration sectors.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe recruitment drive comes as the Ministry continues to implement broader reforms in the Security and Public Administration sector aimed at addressing decades long of staffing shortages in public institutions,\u201d the ministry stated.<\/p>\n
