Africa-Press<\/a> – Kenya<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Chief Executive Officer of Doshi Group of Companies Nilesh Doshi has died in hospital while receiving treatment.<\/p>\n

The news was announced by The Kenya Association of Manufacturers through the Metal and Allied Sector Chairman on Tuesday, January 5.<\/p>\n

“The late Mr. Nilesh Doshi will be remembered not only for the impact he has had on the sector but also for the memories and lessons he left us with.<\/p>\n

“May the almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace,” the statement by the body read in part.<\/p>\n

The Doshi Company which is best-known for the ‘Chuma ya Nguvu’ steel bars has been a provider of steel, electrical, water, hardware, and telecom solutions.<\/p>\n

Established in 1930 in Mombasa, Kenya, the group\u2019s primary business is the supply of quality products and solutions to the building and construction, infrastructure, steel fabrication, oil and gas, and engineering sectors.<\/p>\n

Manav Foundation, the group\u2019s philanthropy arm, actively supports projects related to education, health and water.<\/p>\n

In December 2020, Nilesh Doshi made a presentation during the 5th edition of the East Africa Water Summit which is a hybrid private-public sectors initiative to bring together stakeholders in the water and sanitation industry in the East African region.<\/p>\n

The leaders shared relevant experience, knowledge and technology on sustainable ways of accelerating water, sanitation and hygiene for resilient communities and SDG 6 in the face of pandemics.<\/p>\n

“We are happy to be part of the discussion on Accelerating water and sanitation for all in the face of the pandemic,” he observed at the conference.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
