Africa-Press<\/a> – Kenya<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Supreme Court Judge Njoki Ndung’u’s official vehicle, a Toyota Landcruiser Prado, was on Friday night, January 8, stolen by three men who had pistols.<\/p>\n

According to Citizen Digital, the justice was not in the vehicle at the time of the robbery which took place in Githurai, Mwihoko area.<\/p>\n

The driver, Stephen Thuku, is said to have been steering the vehicle at around 7:30 pm when a vehicle blocked him.<\/p>\n

The carjackers, who are said to have had pistols, then hopped into the Prado and bundled Thuku onto the back seat.<\/p>\n

They then drove off and abandon them at Kibiku area in Ngong.<\/p>\n

Narrating the incident, Thuku stated that the carjackers also made away with Ksh100,000.<\/p>\n

Police officers have started investigations and urged anyone who might have any information on the whereabouts of the vehicle under registration number KCN 117M to report to the nearest police station.<\/p>\n

Previous police reports indicate that carjackers operate in a complex ring, often involving informers who may have taken time to study the target.<\/p>\n

Many deserted roads offer an ideal environment for carjackers.<\/p>\n

The incident took place three years after unknown gunmen seriously injured Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu’s driver opened fire on her official car.<\/p>\n

Mwilu was not in the vehicle as the driver had dropped her at her home in Karen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
