AfricaPress-Kenya:<\/strong> Waruguru made the subtle statement against her ally ODM leader Raila Odinga after he was jeered by a section of youth\u00a0in Githurai.<\/p>\n

The reiterated a statement by Senate Majority Whip Irungu Kangata on the unpopularity of the BBI in the Mt Kenya region, citing the Githura incident.<\/p>\n

“A certain truth is emerging. I remember supporting Senator Irungu Kang’ata \u00a0for informing His Excellency the truth from our people. I still and will always support the truth as that of the Senator for being loyal and truthful to our boss.<\/p>\n

“I got some criticism on various platforms but today in Githurai…….Yawa\u00a0r\u00edr\u00ed N\u00edr\u00eearega nguo\u00a0<\/em>(the pregnancy is already showing), ” Waruguru stated.<\/p>\n

Her statement left most of her supporters confused bearing in mind that\u00a0she defected Ruto’s camp in June last year to support the ODM leader.<\/p>\n

Many interpreted it as a sign that\u00a0she was planning to defect from Odinga’s camp.<\/p>\n

“Continue being confused. A leader makes a decision and stands by it. What have you done to change the situation,” Sammy Ogolla stated.<\/p>\n

“Don’t be two sided, pick a side. I forced myself into supporting you in Laikipia because you joined the handshake team,” Kimotho Gicere commented.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, a section of youth shouted down the former Prime Minister as he prepared to address the residents.<\/p>\n

It took the intervention of local politicians and police officers to calm the group and\u00a0allow the rally to proceed as planned.<\/p>\n

Politicians who had accompanied Odinga accused their rivals of funding the youth to disrupt the meeting.<\/p>\n
