Africa-Press<\/a> – Kenya<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Kenya has recorded 25 deaths in the last 24 hours, 8 having occurred on diverse dates within the last one month and 17 are deaths reported after conducting facility record audits.<\/p>\n

Cumulative fatalities now stand at 3,001.<\/p>\n

In addition, 267 new Covid-19 cases from 4,436 tests conducted over the past 24 hours. The positivity rate now stands at 6.0%.<\/p>\n

In the statement released on Saturday, May 15, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe announced that the country’s cumulative numbers had risen to 165,379.<\/p>\n

The total number of cumulative tests conducted so far are 1,741,604.<\/p>\n

From the cases, 253 are Kenyans while 14 are foreigners. 237 are male and 155 are female. The youngest is a seven-month-old infant while the oldest is 82 years.<\/p>\n

57 individuals recovered from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, 23 from various health facilities countrywide while 34 from home-based and isolation care.<\/p>\n

Total recoveries now stand at 113,489 of whom 82,484 are from Home Based Care and Isolation while 31,005 are from various health facilities.<\/p>\n

1,030 patients are admitted to various health facilities in the country while 4,813 are on home-based isolation and care. 117 are in the intensive care unit 23 of who are on ventilatory support.<\/p>\n

73 patients are on supplemental oxygen and 21 patients are under observation.<\/p>\n

Another 84 patients are separately on supplemental oxygen with 79 in general wards and five in High Dependency Units (HDU).<\/p>\n
