Africa-Press<\/a> – Kenya<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Baringo Senator Gideon Moi on Wednesday, June 30, held a meeting with Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Amani National Congress (ANC) Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi.<\/p>\n

The meeting came amid reports on the KANU Chairman defecting from the One Kenya Alliance into a new partnership with ODM Leader Raila Odinga.<\/p>\n

Gideon had skipped several meetings organised by his One Kenya Alliance co-principals where he is a principal alongside Mudavadi, Kalonzo, and Ford Kenya Party Leader Moses Wetangula.<\/p>\n

Other leaders present in the meeting were Senator Nairobi County Johnson Sakaja, Senator Makueni County Mutula Kilonzo Jnr, Tiaty MP William Kamket, among others.<\/p>\n

The Baringo Senator reiterated his commitment to working with all minded political leaders.<\/p>\n

“We will continue to forge solid partnerships with leaders who share our vision for a united and prosperous nation where our people have equal opportunity to thrive in their economic and social endeavours,” mentioned Moi.<\/p>\n

The meeting he attended comprised of a section of elected leaders from their respective parties discussing ways of strengthening their union in readiness for the 2022 election.<\/p>\n

This arises after Deputy President William Ruto hit back at the news of Moi reportedly stated on crafting a 2022 coalition with Raila.<\/p>\n

“These people are preparing but I am prepared too. These gentlemen will find it rough,” Ruto stated in reply to the Raila-Gideon alliance.<\/p>\n

The UDA Party Leader also challenged his opponents to engage him in development and prepare for a tough race ahead.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are going to challenge each other on the platform of issues and development track-record,\u201d mentioned Ruto.<\/p>\n

Political insiders also intimate Gideon was warming up to Raila advice of the former Prime Minister’s handshake partner – President Uhuru Kenyatta.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
