Africa-Press<\/a> – Kenya<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has opened up on being betrayed while at the same time sending a tough warning to Ukambani politicians who are counting his name to win the 2022 general election.<\/p>\n

Kalonzo has specifically pointed out at Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana and Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua who shifted their loyalty after getting into power.<\/p>\n

He stated that he sealed a deal with Kibwana who eventually clinched the Makueni Gubernatorial seat only for him to betray the Wiper party.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis time around I will not be partisan to any particular candidates as I did before,\u201d Kalonzo told the Standard.<\/p>\n

He has also pinpointed Mutua who started rebelling against him after the 2013 gubernatorial elections.<\/p>\n

Mutua ditched Wiper Party to form Mandeleo Chap Chap which he successfully used to clinch his second term.<\/p>\n

\u201cI, therefore, advise those intending to cling on my coat to capture the seat to forget because I want to remain neutral,\u201d Kalonzo told Machakos residents<\/p>\n

In his message to the leaders from the Ukambani region, Kalonzo has stated that he would not endorse any candidate in the upcoming general election.<\/p>\n

Speaking in Machakos County, the Wiper leader advised Ukambani leaders to instead focus on marketing their manifestos to the people in order to clinch whichever seat they will vie for.<\/p>\n

Kalonzo has further claimed that he learned the hard way against endorsing candidates where wiper failed to prosper in the Ukambani region.<\/p>\n

Those willing to vie on Wiper tickets were free to do as long as they qualify in the party primaries.\u201d<\/p>\n
