The form will be downloaded from the PSC website www.publicservice.go.ke<\/p>\n<p>Here are the Vacancies:<\/p>\n<p><b>Clerical Officer II -1200 posts<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Terms of Service:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Short term contract for six months<\/p>\n<p><b>Salary<\/b><\/p>\n<p>: Ksh16,890 per month<\/p>\n<p><b>House Allowance:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Varies according to the area of deployment<\/p>\n<p><b>Commuter Allowance:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Ksh3,000 per month<\/p>\n<p><b>Medical Benefits:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>As applicable in the Civil service.<\/p>\n<p><b>Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<p>i) Candidate must be in possession of KCSE mean grade C &#8211; (minus) or its equivalent qualification<\/p>\n<p>ii) Proficiency in computer applications from a recognized institution<\/p>\n<p><b>Duties and responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Officers at this level will be deployed in the Department of National Registration Bureau. Duties will involve:<\/p>\n<p>-Data entry and verification<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Any other duties that may be assigned by supervisors<\/p>\n<p><b>Office Administrative Assistant III &#8211; 205 posts<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Salary:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Ksh22,270 per month<\/p>\n<p><b>House allowance:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Varies according to the area of deployment<\/p>\n<p><b>Commuter Allowance<\/b><\/p>\n<p>: Ksh3,000 per month<\/p>\n<p><b>Medical benefits:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>As applicable in the Civil service<\/p>\n<p><b>Requirements for Appointment<\/b><\/p>\n<p>i) KCSE mean grade C- (minus) with at least C plain in English or Kiswahili language or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.<\/p>\n<p>ii) Business Education Single and Group Certificates (BES &amp; GC) from the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) in the following subjects:<\/p>\n<p>a) Typewriting II (minimum 40 words per minute) or Computerized Document Processing II<\/p>\n<p>b) Business English I or Communications I<\/p>\n<p>c) Office Practice I<\/p>\n<p>d) Commerce I<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; If they lack the above documents, applicants can present a certificate in Secretarial Studies from KNEC.<\/p>\n<p>iii) Certificate in Computer Applications skills from a recognized institution<\/p>\n<p><b>Duties and Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p>i) Word and data processing from manuscripts<\/p>\n<p>ii) Operating office equipment<\/p>\n<p>iii) Ensuring the security of office equipment, documents, and records<\/p>\n<p>iv) Attending to visitors and clients<\/p>\n<p>v) Handling telephone calls and appointments<\/p>\n<p>vi) Undertaking any other office administrative and services that may be assigned<\/p>\n<p><b>Driver &#8211; 109 posts<\/b><\/p>\n<p>i) Salary: Ksh14,610 per month<\/p>\n<p>ii) House Allowance: Varies according to the area of deployment<\/p>\n<p>iii) Commuter allowance: Ksh3,000 per month<\/p>\n<p>iv) Medical Benefits: As applicable in the Civil service<\/p>\n<p><b>Requirements of Appointment<\/b><\/p>\n<p>i) KCSE mean Grade D plain from a recognized institution<\/p>\n<p>ii) Valid driving license from any current endorsement for classes of vehicles an officer is required to drive<\/p>\n<p>iii) Attended a First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one week at St John Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized institution<\/p>\n<p>iv) Passed suitability test for Driver Grade III from KIHBT<\/p>\n<p>v) Passed Practical Test for drivers conducted by the respective Ministry or Department<\/p>\n<p>vi) Valid Police clearance certificate<\/p>\n<p>vii) At least two years of driving experience<\/p>\n<p><b>Duties and responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p>i) Driving a motor vehicle as authorised<\/p>\n<p>ii) Carrying out routine checks on the vehicle&#8217;s colling oil, electrical and brake systems, tyre pressure, etc.<\/p>\n<p>iii) Detecting and reporting malfunctioning of vehicle systems<\/p>\n<p>iv) Maintenance of work tickets for vehicles assigned<\/p>\n<p>v) Ensuring security and safety for the vehicle on and off the road<\/p>\n<p>vi) Safety of passengers and or goods therein<\/p>\n<p>vii) Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle<\/p>\n<p><b>Support Staff -356 posts<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Salary:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Ksh13,280 per month<\/p>\n<p><b>House Allowance:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Varies according to the area of deployment<\/p>\n<p><b>Commuter Allowance<\/b><\/p>\n<p>: Ksh3,000 per month<\/p>\n<p><b>Medical benefits:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>As applicable in the Civil service<\/p>\n<p><b>Requirements for Appointment<\/b><\/p>\n<p>-Minimum of KCPE certificate<\/p>\n<p><b>Duties and Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p>i) General Messengerial duties<\/p>\n<p>ii) Office cleaning<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Kenya.
