Africa-Press<\/a> – Kenya<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The former majority leader of the National Assembly, Aden Duale has launched a scathing attack on President Uhuru Kenyatta.<\/p>\n

While speaking live on his YouTube channel, on Tuesday, October 12, Duale shamed President Kenyatta, saying that he is no different from his father, Kenya’s first President, the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta.<\/p>\n

The lawmaker attacked Uhuru, claiming that his strained ties with his deputy William Ruto was no different from the frosty relationships between Jomo Kenyatta, the first Vice President, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, and former President the late Daniel Arap Moi.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately, President Kenyatta is doing exactly what his father did to Jaramogi and to Moi,\u201d the Garissa Township Member of Parliament noted.<\/p>\n

Duale went on to state that Uhuru is following in the footsteps of his father, and that he cannot be any different from Kenya’s first Head of State.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know if he was not the son of Mzee Kenytatta, he would have been different,\u201d Duale remarked.<\/p>\n

Duale, a former strongman of Kenyatta, claimed that the president is arrogant, and has proved in many ways that he does not recognize the power of the Deputy President William Ruto in his government.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is no way that senior public officers who are juniors have the courage to humiliate the deputy president, and the president claims he is not aware,\u201d the MP noted.<\/p>\n

He then urged the president to admit that he used the DP to play dirty politics for his personal gains.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one forced president Uhuru to say over 1000 times, \u2018kumi ni yangu, kumi ni yako\u2019. He should come out and say that he played politics of deceit and dishonesty,\u201d Duale stated.<\/p>\n

The immediate former majority leader of the National Assembly urged the Deputy President to ensure that he ends unethical and dishonest politics should he win the presidency in 2022.<\/p>\n

Notably, Duale challenged the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader, Raila Odinga to drop his presidential bid claiming that Ruto stands a better chance to win next year’s race.<\/p>\n
