Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei on Monday, November 1, sensationally claimed that the 2022 General Election had already been rigged.<\/p>\n

While speaking to the press, Cherargei stated that this is so, because cabinet secretaries who hold delicate positions in the government have declared their support for the Orange Democratic Movement leader, Raila Odinga.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have seen Joe Mucheru, Eugene Wamalwa and Fred Matiang’i. These people should protect the country, but we saw them recently declare their support for Raila Odinga\u201d he stated<\/p>\n

Cherargei proceeded to say that these three ministers retaining their positions is the first path to unfair election results.<\/p>\n

He urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to fire these three ministers, in a way of showing that he values the peace of this country.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to request President Kenyatta that in the interest of the peace and integrity of elections in this country, they must be fired or given lighter duties,\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is no way we can have the Minister of Interior, Defence and Information and Communications Technology support one candidate as we approach the General Election,\u201d Cherargei stated.<\/p>\n

He further mentioned that this is unfair for the United Democratic Alliance party, and if the three retain their positions, there will not be integrity in the elections.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to say this without the fear of contradiction. The rigging of the 2022 general elections has already begun.<\/p>\n

\u201cUhuru, I heard you say recently that you want to protect this country. The only way you will achieve that is if you fire these CSs and give these roles to different people,” the Senator remarked.<\/p>\n

Notably, he advised the ODM party leader to take the three ministers and make them his campaign managers, since they have openly declared their support for him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to advise you Raila not to look for other campaign managers. You already have Matiang’i, Mucheru and Wamalwa.<\/p>\n

\u201cGive them that job to work with other agents. That will help us have peace during the 2022 elections.<\/p>\n
