Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Five matches are on the card this weekend as the Kenya Handball Federation 2021 season comes to an end.<\/p>\n

The league winners are already decided after National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) and Nairobi Water Queens clinched the men and women titles respectively.<\/p>\n

Both teams have amassed an unassailable lead of 34 and 26 points respectively in one of the tightest races in recent years.<\/p>\n

The only men\u2019s fixture of the weekend will see third-placed Black Mamba, who ruined Strathmore University\u2019s chances of winning the title, face off against fifth Ulinzi.<\/p>\n

The Kaloleni-based side have 30 points, compared to the students, who have 32. A win for Mamba will move them to second on a better goal aggregate. A win for the soldiers, who succumbed 25-23 to \u2018Strath\u2019 in a tight encounter last weekend, will see them leapfrog GSU to fourth.<\/p>\n

Star-studded women champions Nairobi Water Queens, who are the only team yet to lose a match, face off against fourth-placed Nanyuki. But a cracking women\u2019s pairing pits second-placed Ulinzi Sharks \u2014 with 20 points \u2014 against former champions NCPB, who are third on 18.<\/p>\n

Sharks will first warm up with an easy duel against Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Jkuat). A win will see them finish second. KHF announced that the top six men\u2019s team\u2019s in the table will qualify for next season\u2019s Super Cup alongside four top women\u2019s teams.<\/p>\n
