{"id":41481,"date":"2021-12-12T17:31:48","date_gmt":"2021-12-12T17:31:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/kenya\/?p=41481"},"modified":"2021-12-12T15:41:56","modified_gmt":"2021-12-12T15:41:56","slug":"kangogo-rules-konza-investeeing-golf-series-in-eldoret","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/kenya\/all-news\/kangogo-rules-konza-investeeing-golf-series-in-eldoret","title":{"rendered":"Kangogo rules Konza InvesTeeing Golf Series in Eldoret"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Eldoret Club\u2019s, Linda Kangogo, carded a round of 42 points to emerge the overall winner during the third leg of the Konza InvesTeeing Golf Series at Eldoret Club over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Playing off handicap 27, Linda posted 23 points in the first nine and combined with 19 points in the second to floor a field of over 70 players who took part in the event.<\/p>\n<p>Linda\u2019s score was one point ahead of her nearest challenger, Stephen Isoe, at handicap 12, who emerged the runners-up with 41 points ahead of handicap 16 Stephen Karobio who finished as third overall with 40 points.<\/p>\n<p>Handicap 13, Evance Maneno and Handicap 15, Dr John Kibosia were ranked fourth and fifth with a similar score.<\/p>\n<p>In the ladies\u2019 category, Linda Kangogo was crowned the winner after she carded a round of 23 points; one ahead of handicap 27 Diana Chemweno who took the runner-up spot with 22 points.<\/p>\n<p>Among the guests, Konza Technopolis Development Authority\u2019s (KoTDA) Hillary Kip carded a round of 28 points to emerge the best staff player at the event.<\/p>\n<p>In the nines, Diana Chemweno and Nathan Tororei bagged the top honours in the first nine and second nine respectively with 22 points and 25 points respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In the longest drive contest, Sandeep Grewal emerged winner among the men while Dr Florence Murgor claimed the honours in the women\u2019s category.<\/p>\n<p>The Eldoret Club event is Konza Technopolis Development Authority\u2019s (KoTDA) 7th golf event and the third in the Konza InvesTeeing Golf Series calendar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/kenya\">Kenya<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Kenya.
