Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>A contingent of Kenya Defence Forces officers has taken charge of the Lee Funeral home where President Mwai Kibaki’s body will be preserved until his burial.<\/p>\n

The presence of heavy security at the morgue saw Agwings Kodhek Road being closed and only selected users were allowed to pass.<\/p>\n

The funeral home’s gate is under tight security with only a few dignitaries tripping in to view Kibaki’s body.<\/p>\n

There are also dozens of armed General Service Unit officers together with military men with a battery of journalists, both local and international, present at the mortuary.<\/p>\n

Government officials are also present.<\/p>\n

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu visited the funeral home to view Kibaki’s body.<\/p>\n
