Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi has called on Kenyans to pray for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairperson Wafula Chebulati.<\/p>\n

While addressing congregants at Bungoma Christ the King Cathedral, Mudavadi said that as Kenyans pray for country the they should remember Chebukati his commissioners.<\/p>\n

“May I also dedicate a moment of reflection and prayer for our son who has been born in this part of the world called Chebukati,” Mudavadi said.<\/p>\n

“If there is one man who has stood firmly, committed himself to the truth walked the path of righteousness is Chebukati.”<\/p>\n

Mudavadi praised Chebukati for standing firm with his decision.<\/p>\n

“Chebukati deserves our accolades because had he wavered, had he not stood firm, there were those who were hellbent on snatching the victory of William Ruto through an orthodox method,” Mudavadi said.<\/p>\n

Mudavadi said that Kenya was on the brink of a serious disaster as the country is going through a Supreme Court case.<\/p>\n

He urged religious leaders to pray for the country.<\/p>\n

Mudavadi called on Kenyans to be peaceful and extend humility to others.<\/p>\n

He affirmed Kenyans that the DP will work towards fulfilling his manifesto.<\/p>\n

Leaders present included president – elect William Ruto, deputy president – elect Rigathi Gachagua, Kiharu MP – elect Ndindi Nyoro, Bungoma senator- elect Moses Wetangula and Bungoma governor Kenneth Lusaka among other leaders.<\/p>\n
