Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Lawyer Miguna Miguna has said among the first things he will do after his arrival in the country is pay his last respects to late family members and friends.<\/p>\n

The lawyer is expected to land at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on October 20.<\/p>\n

“Soon after arriving in Kenya on October 20, 2022, I will unveil a schedule which will include paying my last respects to my comrade Onyango Oloo, Chris Msando, my sister-in-law, father-in-law and all those fearless freedom fighters who were killed in 2017 and 2018,” he said.<\/p>\n

The former IEBC ICT Manager Msando was found dead on July 29,2017 in a thicket in Kikuyu, Kiambu county, nearly a week to the General Elections.<\/p>\n

Oloo was a political detainee and human rights activist. He died on June 17,2019.<\/p>\n

Initially, Miguna had announced he will fly back to Kenya on October 25 after departing Toronto, Canada on October 24.<\/p>\n

“Arrival date and time have been changed by popular demand. Arrival: October 20, 2022 at 6.00 AM. See you at the JKIA, Patriots,” he tweeted.<\/p>\n

He received his new passport on Wednesday, September 21, following a directive by President William Ruto.<\/p>\n

Miguna was deported on February 6, 2018, and again in March 2018 after he tried returning to Kenya.<\/p>\n

Miguna has always blamed Former President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga for his exile.<\/p>\n
