Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>The burial of the Luo Council of Elders in Seme, Kisumu county, turned into a political playground as area leaders used the moment to call on the ODM leader to give them direction and a way forward on his next course of action.<\/p>\n

The leader stressed that Raila was still their leader until the end and cannot just be wished away by anyone.<\/p>\n

They said they will follow him till the end, and any direction he will give they will be ready and armed with their all to implement.<\/p>\n

They claimed Kenyans have been suffering at th hands of the Kenya Kwanza government for barely two months since being in office.<\/p>\n

Siaya governor James Orengo and his Migori counterpart Ochillo Ayacko noted that Raila is their President and will always follow the direction he gives.<\/p>\n

Orengo noted that Kenya should not be tired, and just like the other regimes, this will also come to an end.<\/p>\n

He noted that President Ruto did not imagine things will be this hard for him having made various promises to Kenyans that he was not able to fulfil but instead requested for one year.<\/p>\n

“He said prices of Unga will go down, now he is asking for one year. Will you wait for one year to allow prices of Unga to go down yet you have nothing to eat,” he questioned adding that even the hustler fund was a false promise and not as Kenyans were told.<\/p>\n

Orengo noted that the people have power and should not allow some things happening within the country to stand.<\/p>\n

Homa Bay Senator Moses Kajwang said that Kenyans have started seeing problems and regret having the current administration in office.<\/p>\n

“They have realized that those people cannot steer\/run the economy,” he said<\/p>\n

He added that the Luo nation still needs Raila and they will depend on him for any directions.<\/p>\n

“You are our strength. People have been suffering. We are waiting for direction from you. You will and still remain our only leader,” added Kajwang.<\/p>\n

He further thanked leaders who supported Raila from Mt Kenya saying they did not make any mistake by standing with him.<\/p>\n

Jeremiah Kioni also stressed that as a region, they are also waiting for direction from Raila and what he will tell them they will follow.<\/p>\n

He said they are currently quiet because of this.<\/p>\n

“I want you to know that we will stand with Raila Odinga until he is the president of the country and when that time reaches, freedom will come.”<\/p>\n

Kioni took the opportunity to urge people from the region to register as voters because their journey was just to begin.<\/p>\n
