Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Kenya will send three teams to the East and Central Africa Club Championships set for in Zanzibar, Kenya Handball Federation have revealed.<\/p>\n

National men\u2019s champions National Cereals and Produce Board will be joined by their female counterparts as well as Nairobi Water Queens.<\/p>\n

KHF fixtures secretary Charles Omondi, who is also the regional secretary, said the Kenyan trio will be in competition between December 4 and 11 tournament against teams from Rwanda, Burundi, DR Congo and Tanzania.<\/p>\n

Among them are defending champions Rwanda Police, Ngome, Jeshi La Kujenga Taifa and Nyuki.<\/p>\n

DR Congo\u2019s Police (men and women) as well as two representatives from Burundi are in the mix.<\/p>\n

NCPB continued their preparations with a routine 40-21 win over University of Eldoret in a league match, Queens were left disappointed after Daystar University failed to show up.<\/p>\n

Millers coach Dan Eshikumo said he was happy with the outcome of the weekend match where he used different combinations with an eye on the regional tournament.<\/p>\n

Unbeaten NCPB are top of the league table with maximum 28 points from 14 games. Water Queens are also unbeaten in 12 matches.<\/p>\n
