Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Team Kenya’s trip to Spain for the World Youth Boxing Championship hangs in the balance, Boxing Federation of Kenya organising secretary David Munuhe has said.<\/p>\n

The championships is set for Alicante, Spain between November 14 and 27 but Muhune has expressed concerns that the current reorganisation within the government could hurt their ambitions.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe planned tour is likely to be affected by the transitions within the government,\u201d said Munuhe.<\/p>\n

However, Munuhe said their training program is still on although details concerning the trip are yet to be finalised.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, head coach Benjamin Musa named a team of seven male and three female boxers for the tournament.<\/p>\n

They include Dennis Muiya, Wycliffe Chesire, Joseph Karumba, Diouf Muimi, Joshua Cliff, Douglas Muya and Francis Ogeta in the men’s team while the women’s trio has Jane Wangari, Faith Nafuna and Juliet Akinyi.<\/p>\n

Musa also added legendary Nick Okoth to the bench.<\/p>\n
