Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>The Roots party boss George Wajackoya has said that he is now the official opposition leader in Kenya adding that he will put the Kenya Kwanza government to frequent oversight.<\/p>\n

He was speaking at Bungoma County IEBC offices when he had escorted his Roots party Senatorial candidate for clearance.<\/p>\n

Wajackoya called the Kenya Kwanza government to deliver what they promised to Kenyans during the August campaigns.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the moment, we don\u2019t want to hear Ruto and his deputy complaining and feeding us with PR, Kenyans want work,\u201d Wajackoya said.<\/p>\n

Wajackoya asked the new Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu to scrap the CBC citing burden to the parents.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I was blessed and elected the President, I could have thrown CBC to river Nzoia,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He also called the government to increase the teachers\u2019 pay and improve their working environment.<\/p>\n

Wajackoya revealed that he still has the ambition to vie for the Country\u2019s top seat in other coming general elections warning President Ruto\u2019s government against having plans to change the constitution to increase the President\u2019s term limit.<\/p>\n

Wajackoya asked Bungoma voters to reject the recycled leaders saying that young and visionary leaders should be given a chance.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe may have started small but we aren\u2019t small in our mindset, Sifuna is very ready to propel Bungoma to the next level,\u201d Wajackoya noted, adding that he has the brains of running the government if elected the head of state.<\/p>\n

\u201cRuto should be serious and deliver on what he promised us, Kenyans don\u2019t want stories now and then,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The Roots Party boss noted that he will pitch camp in Bungoma to campaign for his candidate.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have walked with Sifuna and I have seen something good in him that is why I decided to give him a ticket and support him,\u201d Wajackoya noted.<\/p>\n

He added that Kenyans political seats aren\u2019t hereditary and Kenyans should open eyes and vote in for visionary leaders.<\/p>\n
