Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>The fate of the Kenyan Premier League season, which was scheduled to start this weekend now hangs in the balance following an application filed by APS Bomet and Kona Rangers at the Sports Disputes Tribunal on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

APS, the 2022 National Super League champions and Rangers, last season\u2019s Division One winners, moved to the Tribunal to challenge Football Kenya Federation (FKF) National Executive Committee\u2019s move to declare the 2021\/22 season null and void.<\/p>\n

The decision means there will be no relegation or promotion within the various FKF leagues.<\/p>\n

Following the duo\u2019s request, the John Ohaga-led Tribunal issued orders that: That an interim order of injunction be and is hereby issued staying the decision by the Football Kenya FederationNational Executive Committee on promotions and relegations, pending the full hearing and determination of this application.<\/p>\n

The Tribunal further directed that the matter be listed for mention for directions on Tuesday November 22, 2022 at 2:30pm via Microsoft Teams.<\/p>\n
