Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>KCB assistant coach Godfrey Oduor has tipped his team to silence Bandari in their Kenya Premier League Round Three match at Mbaraki Sports Club on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The bankers’ quest for the title took a temporary hit when they lost to Kakamega Homeboyz at Kasarani Annex last weekend. In the first match of their campaign, they narrowly beat Kenya Police 1-0.<\/p>\n

As they attempt to keep their title streak going in the humid coastal city, Zedekiah Otieno’s team will be looking to get back to winning ways. Speaking during an open training session at KCB Sports Club, Ruaraka, Oduor admitted that their confidence level suffered a dent when they crashed to Homeboyz.<\/p>\n

“When you lose a match, the team tends to lose confidence a bit but this is something we have been working on, our confidence levels currently stand at 7 out of 10,\u201d Oduor said. The gaffer has urged his team to be cautious about their opponents’ home advantage.<\/p>\n

After registering a victory over Sofapaka in their season opener and sharing spoils with Nzoia Sugar in their second match, the Dockers head into Sunday’s encounter high on confidence.<\/p>\n

\u201cBandari is a good opponent and we\u2019re ready to face them. Our goal is to scoop the three vital points in that encounter.\u201d They do not have any injury concerns at the moment, and Oduor says the morale is high ahead of the match.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll of our players are fully fit. No one has an injury and this shows we\u2019re ready to compete. In that case, anyone will be called upon to be on the starting eleven,\u201d added Oduor.<\/p>\n

After the Bandari clash, KCB FC will resume action against Nzoia Sugar a week later at the Kasarani Annex. The bankers currently sit 8th on the log with three points.<\/p>\n

In other Round Three matches, Kenya Police will flex muscles with Kakamega Homeboyz at Ulinzi Sports Complex in Nairobi on Saturday. Ulinzi Stars host Posta Rangers in the second match that will be played in the same venue.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, Nzoia Sugar will host Sofapaka at Sudi Stadium in Bungoma. Nairobi City Stars will be groping for their first win when they face Talanta at Ruaraka Stadium, Nairobi.<\/p>\n

Tusker and AFC Leopards are expected to engage in a fierce clash at Moi Stadium, Kasarani. The brewers romped to the summit of the table after registering two wins on the bounce.<\/p>\n

Their campaign got off to a flying start with a 2-1 win over Kakamega Homeboyz at Bukhungu Stadium two weeks ago before thumping Nairobi City Stars 4-1 at Ruaraka Complex last Sunday.<\/p>\n
