She said that President William Ruto should give them an opportunity to resign.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on Monday, Elachi said at the end of the investigations, the tribunal will give the same feedback. &#8220;We don\u2019t need the tribunal, we need to give the four commissioners an opportunity to resign,&#8221; she said on Citizen TV.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, Ruto suspended the four commissioners. He further appointed High Court Judge Aggrey Muchelule to chair a tribunal that will investigate the embattled IEBC commissioners.<\/p>\n<p>The tribunal&#8217;s appointment follows a report by Parliament recommending the same. After probing, the tribunal will prepare and submit a report and its recommendations there on expeditiously.<\/p>\n<p>The four commisioners are vice chairperson Juliana Cherera, Justus Nyang\u2019aya, Francis Wanderi and Irene Masit.
