Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Kenya Cup champions Kabras and KCB keep their unbeaten records intact with wins on Saturday as the league entered the third week. The sugar millers were made to fight by a resilient Quins outfit before winning 27-12 in Kakamega as the bankers edged Homeboyz 29-10 to end the Deejays’ 100 percent start to the season.<\/p>\n

In Kakamega, Quins stunned the hosts with an early try when Lucky Dewald broke the Kabras’ defence to score and convert his own try for a 7-0 lead. Kabras regrouped and cut the deficit to four points when Ntabeni Dukisa slotted home a penalty. Minutes later, Bryceson Adaka touched down for an unconverted try and an 8-7 lead.<\/p>\n

Ephraim Oduor extended Kabras’ lead with a well-taken try to stretch the lead to 13-7 midway through the half. The Ngong road-based outfit scored their second try through Brian Waraba as Kabras led 13-12 at the break. On resumption, Kabras stepped up a gear with Adaka and Brian Tanga scoring a try each to earn the victory.<\/p>\n
