The court heard that John Mbatia committed the heinous act on Jamhuri Day, December 12.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is alleged that on 12th December 2022, the convict lured minor, aged years to a corridor near a railway line at K.C.C. Mowlem area where he defiled her.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The office of the director of public prosecution said the sentence was handed down to the convict on Friday after he pleaded guilty to the offence before Makadara Principal Magistrate Hellen Onkwani.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The accused pleaded guilty despite being warned of the consequences of pleading guilty,&#8221; the ODPP said.
