AfricaPress-Kenya:<\/strong> A man accused of breaking his wife\u2019s leg wants the trial to go the full hog to conviction even as his forgiving wife, the complainant in the matter, filed to withdraw the case.<\/p>\n

Not even the Nyamira Chief Magistrate\u2019s court could convince Daniel Nyansarora to accept the gesture and let peace prevail.<\/p>\n

Teresa Bosibori, 50, told the court that after a thorough reflection, she chose to forgive her husband and petitioned to pull out of the case.The septuagenarian from Magombo village, however, told chief magistrate Margaret Wambani he was not interested in the apology, not even if his wife pulled out of the case.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want it (case) to be withdrawn,\u201d he said, shaking his head in disapproval.Nyansarora is accused of assaulting his wife, breaking her leg on April 25, a charge he denied, prompting the court to free him on a bond of Sh30,000 as the hearing continued.<\/p>\n

The case came up yesterday for a mention, where Bosibori, who was in crutches nursing the wounds of the alleged assault by her husband, announced her intention to discontinue the case.Prosecution and bench agreed that the matter proceeds to full hearing.
