Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>President William Ruto on Friday arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for the 36th Ordinary Session of the African Union Heads of State and Government Summit.<\/p>\n

The meeting will be held from February 17 to 19, 2023.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, State House spokesperson Hussein Mohamed said Ruto will join other regional leaders for discussions aimed at fast-tracking Intra-Trade in Africa.<\/p>\n

This is through the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) framework.<\/p>\n

He added that Ruto is expected to advocate for the continent’s potential to lead the world.<\/p>\n

He will also demonstrate that Africa can industrialise, thrive and prosper in a low-carbon and sustainable manner.<\/p>\n
