Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Meru governor Kawira Mwangaza has resolved to work with Meru MCAs who had impeached her late last year. Governor Kawira Mwangaza met the MCAs at the county assembly buildings on Monday evening.<\/p>\n

Mwangaza who spoke to press started by saying “this is the lords doing and it is marvellous in our eyes”. “This is a good day for Meru the bible also says where there is unity God commands a blessing,” she added.<\/p>\n

Mwangaza also thanked the President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua. Mwangaza said each MCA will get Sh10 million of ward development fund.<\/p>\n

She thanked the MCA and said bygones will be by gones. “Those who were happy because of our wrangles let them find something else to do,” she said. Mwangaza said she will involve all MCAs in his developmental agenda<\/p>\n

Meru Deputy governor Mutuma M’ithinkia echoed sentiments by Mwangaza Mutuma said residents were worried and kept praying for the county. He said Meru will be happy with the unity.<\/p>\n

Meru speaker Ayub Bundi thanked Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who mediated the wrangles. Bundi said they have agreed to work together from Tuesday.<\/p>\n

“Meru leaders can now go to statehouse and lobby for development as a group,” Bundi said. Bundi said Meru women rep was sent by Rigathi Gachagua to oversee the resolution to unite. Bundi said they will support the county boss.<\/p>\n

Majority leader Evans Mawira (Mitunguu)said it was a big day for Meru for the MCAS and governor to unit. Mawira said they are ready to pass supplementary budget and county executive committee members.<\/p>\n

The leaders were involved in a reconciliation meeting led by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. Mawira said politicians who were riding on the debacle should now close business. Minority leader Mwenda Ithili (Akithi) said they will work together to bring development.<\/p>\n
