Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>ICT CS Eliud Owalo on Saturday left the country for Barcelona, Spain to attend the Mobile World Congress (MWC). The Congress is a global ICT event, coordinated by Global System for Mobile Association (GSMA), a body for the technology communications and connectivity sector.<\/p>\n

It is an opportunity for tens of thousands of mobile network operators, manufacturers, technology providers and other ICT solutions providers. They will be able to showcase their digital solutions and innovations that address different present and future technological needs for users.<\/p>\n

The 2023 Congress is themed \u2018Unleashing Tomorrow\u2019s Technology Today\u2019. The event will take place in Barcelona, Spain from 27th February to 2nd March 2023.<\/p>\n

Beyond technology exhibitions, MWC hosts various discussion sessions on the future of digital technologies. The CS will attend a special forum for global ICT Ministers on opportunities and challenges in the digital space.<\/p>\n

This Congress presents Kenya with a great opportunity to meet the most \u2018sought for\u2019 technology companies under one roof, sample various digital solutions and discuss the subject of connectivity and the ongoing digitization of government services.<\/p>\n
