Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Formula One on Tuesday announced that it has agreed on a 15-year strategic partnership with English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur to \u201chelp identify and foster a new generation” of motorsport talent.<\/p>\n

In a statement, F1 said that the deal includes the construction of the world\u2019s first in-stadium electric karting facility and London\u2019s longest indoor track at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.<\/p>\n

The two sides will \u201cdevelop a new driver academy programme which aims to widen the motorsport talent pool and help identify the next generation of F1 drivers,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we continue to grow our sport, partnering with world renowned brands like Tottenham Hotspur allows us to take Formula 1 and motorsport to new and more diverse audiences,” President and CEO of Formula 1 Stefano Domenicali said.<\/p>\n

“The karting experience will be a destination and place that families, friends, and aspiring drivers from all over the world will want to visit and enjoy, engaging new audiences and offering an accessible entry point to the world of motorsport,” Domenicali added.<\/p>\n

F1 also agreed to collaborate with Tottenham on sustainability initiatives that promote environmental responsibility.<\/p>\n
