Africa-Press – Kenya. <\/strong><\/span>Champions National Cereals and Produce Board will meet Ulinzi in the Super Cup men\u2019s final match slated for Thursday at Nyayo Stadium.<\/p>\n

The millers and the soldiers, who finished in the top two positions in the Kenya Handball League, stormed the final after winning their respective semifinals on Sunday.<\/p>\n

NCPB, who were top in Pool \u2018A\u2019, beat Strathmore University 38-26 in the first semifinal inspired by goals from William Malui (seven) and Brian Wekhuka (five).<\/p>\n

For the students, who were placed second in Pool \u2018B\u2019, Moses Odhiambo managed six goals. They trailed 20-11 at the break.<\/p>\n

The other semifinal saw Ulinzi, who topped Pool \u2018B\u2019, lock out Black Mamba 33-22.<\/p>\n

Frank Kiplagat scored nine goals while Gideon Mulwa added four in the win. In their last group matches, NCPB blanked GSU 31-23 as Nicholas Okore shot five goals.<\/p>\n

Ulinzi beat Strathmore University 26-23 with Nicholas Ireri and Gideon Mukwa bagging five goals each for KDF.<\/p>\n

In the women\u2019s category, Ulinzi Sharks dismissed Rangers 42-31 and will have to wait for the last match on Thursday to know their fate.<\/p>\n

In a tightly contested match, the soldiers led 18-15 at half time. Sarah Wasike recorded 13 goals and Lavendar Martha shot eight.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have done our part. We played some good game and used different tactics in that match. Now we await the last match on Thursday,\u201d said Sharks coach Nickson Oyaro.<\/p>\n

The Bungoma-based side\u2019s scoring tally was led by Jentrix Masika and Gideon Mulwa, who bagged five goals each.<\/p>\n

The women\u2019s final between champions Nairobi Water Queens and NCPB is scheduled for 2 pm on Thursday, followed by the men\u2019s final.<\/p>\n
