Ruto said this on Thursday following a meeting with Moussa at the State House.<\/p>\n<p>They held talks on the building of a secure, peaceful, equitable and climate-resilient Africa. The President said they also agreed on the urgent need for a peaceful Sudan.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that building partnerships is an effective way to deal with climate change that has threatened the region&#8217;s communities and ecosystems. &#8220;If we respond collectively and boldly, and in a coordinated way, we stand to make strides in our development, meet our aspirations and prosper,&#8221; Ruto said.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the month, Ruto called upon the AU to implement urgent reforms to match the current world standard.
